The wonderful thing about this photoshoot is God’s grace and mercy. When I arrived at the park to shoot this session, a storm was coming. Not even five minutes after my arrival, it started to rain. Lukas’ mommy informed me that it had already rained a little bit before I arrived, and it had stopped a few minutes before it started again when I was ready to shoot. Ashley (Lukas’ mommy) went to grab an umbrella from the car so we wouldn’t get wet. I asked God to give me a ten minute window to photograph Lukas because I didn’t want to let Ashley down. Seconds later, the sun peeked from behind the clouds and it was dry. I hurried Ashley and Lukas over and we found a spot where the sun was out to shoot.

I literally had ten minutes of sun. God gave me what I asked. :)

The last few photos were shot in a sprinkle, but you wouldn’t even tell. Lukas was having a great time!

Just as Rob and I left the park and the session ended, the storm finally came at full force. I am so thankful we had those few minutes to shoot! We got some great photos! :)
